고전 12: 21-27

21. 그러므로 눈이 손에게 “나는 네가 필요 없다”라고 말하거나 머리가 발에게 “나는 네가 필요 없다”라고 말할 수 없습니다. 22. 이뿐 아니라 더 약해 보이는 몸의 지체들이 오히려 중요합니다. 23. 그리고 우리가 몸 가운데 덜 귀하다고 생각되는 지체들을 더 귀한 것으로 입혀 주어 우리의 볼품없는 지체들은 더 큰 아름다움을 갖게 됩니다. 24. 우리의 아름다운 지체들에게는 그럴 필요가 없습니다. 하나님께서는 몸을 고르게 짜 맞추셔서 부족한 지체에게 더 큰 존귀를 주셨습니다. 25. 그리하여 몸에서 분열이 없게 하시고 지체들이 서로 돌아보게 하셨습니다. 26. 만일 한 지체가 고통을 당하면 모든 지체가 함께 고통을 당하고 한 지체가 영광을 얻으면 모든 지체가 함께 기뻐합니다. 27. 여러분은 그리스도의 몸이요 또한 그 몸의 지체입니다.

21. And the eye cannot say to the hand, "I have no need of you"; or again the head to the feet, "I have no need of you." 22. On the contrary, it is much truer that the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary;  23. and those [members] of the body, which we deem less honorable, on these we bestow more abundant honor, and our unseemly [members come to] have more abundant seemliness, 24. whereas our seemly [members] have no need [of it.] But God has [so] composed the body, giving more abundant honor to that [member] which lacked, 25. that there should be no division in the body, but [that] the members should have the same care for one another. 26. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if [one] member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. 27. Now you are Christ's body, and individually members of it.

하나님, 우리 마하나임에도, 우리 사랑방에도, 약해보이는 지체가 더욱 귀하고, 중요하다고 하시니 감사합니다.

필요가 없어보이는 때에도, 오히려 그들을 돌아보시고 사랑하시는 하나님의 마음을 알게 하소서. 

무엇보다도 하나님이 composed 하셨다는 그 말씀을 붙들고 나아갑니다. 주님, 내게 하나님의 마음을 주소서.

우리의 불화가 하나님의 영광을 가리우지 않길 원합니다. 찬양하기 합당한 그리스도의 몸이 되게하소서.
