NASB

10 As Pharaoh drew near, the sons of Israel [e]looked, and behold, the Egyptians were marching after them, and they became very frightened; so the sons of Israel cried out to the Lord.

11 Then they said to Moses, “Is it because there were no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you dealt with us in this way, [f]bringing us out of Egypt?

12 Is this not the word that we spoke to you in Egypt, saying, ‘[g]Leave us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.”

[The Sea Is Divided]

13 But Moses said to the people, “Do not fear! [h]Stand by and see the salvation of the Lord which He will accomplish for you today; for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you will never see them again forever. 14 The Lord will fight for you while you keep silent.”

10 As Pharaoh drew near,

the sons of Israel [e]     looked, and behold, the Egyptians were marching after them, and

they                               became very frightened

so the sons of Israel      cried out to the Lord.

11    Then they                      said to Moses,

“Is it because there were no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you dealt with us in this way, [f]bringing us out of Egypt?

12                                                   Is this not the word that we spoke to you in Egypt, saying,

‘[g]Leave us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’?

For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.”

[The Sea Is Divided]

13 But Moses said to the people, “Do not fear! [h]

Stand by and

see the salvation of the Lord which He will accomplish for you today;

for the Egyptians whom you have seen today,

you will never see them again forever.

14 The Lord will fight for you while you keep silent.”

They would serve Egyptians than die in the wilderness. Blamed Moses for taking them out from Egypt.

Told them what behavior they have to take: and ordered them to see what God will do in this situation.

They saw the Egyptian army, and get frightened. Moses saw spiritual situation: he knew that God planned this setting in order to show His glory. He clearly knew that God is with them. And knew the characteristic of God: caring, and his kind plan.

What am I seeing? What behavior is God telling me to do? In the situations about my study, church life, relationship, and career plan, what am I seeing? what am I not seeing?

Study - listen and obey the words God is telling me.

Church - I should remember the words I was given last night: looking at the situation in the eye of spirit, and consider seriously about "being the priest" in the worship service. God, please help me having eyes to see the spiritual needs in choosing the worship leader of next academic year.

Relationship - I think I talk too much about the relationship with them/ not with God. I should pray and think more in Him. God, let me see your work in my life - even in the relationship. Let me behold, silent, do not fear, and see your salvation.

Career - what is the fear i have toward my future career? why don't I listen/focus more on what God is telling me? What is his will?

The most important thing for the believers- whether they are in wilderness or in a palace, is seeing the God who is walking and working with us. Let me be a wise one who knows you, who experience you, and listen to you.

What should I do in order to listen and speak to you more?

I should reduce watching media, but focus more on listening and reading your words.

God, today I have many things to do. Please be at the potluck that I am joining this afternoon. Let me meet and talk to the person I should talk to. There are many things that makes me fear: talking about my academic status and etc. But let me be myself, without covering up. Let me listen to the words I should listen: both in academically and personally. Walk with me, work with me. Please be in the conversation I have with others. Tell me things I should remember or remark.

And today, when I obey your words today, please be with my incapacity. Let me finish the works i should leave behind.

Either in the work of study or work of church, please let there me love in my heart, the love given by you. Love and care for the work you ordered me and for the people you asked me to pray for.

In Jesus name, Amen
