[홍해를 건너다] 1. 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되 2. 이스라엘 자손에게 명령하여 돌이켜 바다와 믹돌 사이의 비하히롯 앞 곧 바알스본 맞은편 바닷가에 장막을 치게 하라 3. 바로가 이스라엘 자손에 대하여 말하기를 그들이 그 땅에서 멀리 떠나 광야에 갇힌 바 되었다 하리라 4. 내가 바로의 마음을 완악하게 한즉 바로가 그들의 뒤를 따르리니 내가 그와 그의 온 군대로 말미암아 영광을 얻어 애굽 사람들이 나를 여호와인 줄 알게 하리라 하시매 무리가 그대로 행하니라 5. 그 백성이 도망한 사실이 애굽 왕에게 알려지매 바로와 그의 신하들이 그 백성에 대하여 마음이 변하여 이르되 우리가 어찌 이같이 하여 이스라엘을 우리를 섬김에서 놓아 보내었는가 하고 6. 바로가 곧 그의 병거를 갖추고 그의 백성을 데리고 갈새 7. 선발된 병거 육백 대와 애굽의 모든 병거를 동원하니 지휘관들이 다 거느렸더라 8. 여호와께서 애굽 왕 바로의 마음을 완악하게 하셨으므로 그가 이스라엘 자손의 뒤를 따르니 이스라엘 자손이 담대히 나갔음이라 9. 애굽 사람들과 바로의 말들, 병거들과 그 마병과 그 군대가 그들의 뒤를 따라 바알스본 맞은편 비하히롯 곁 해변 그들이 장막 친 데에 미치니라	1. 그때 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨습니다. 2. “이스라엘 백성들에게 돌아서서 믹돌과 바다 사이의 비하히롯 앞, 곧 바알스본 맞은편 바닷가에 진을 치라고 하여라. 3. 그러면 바로가 속으로 ‘이스라엘 백성들이 이 땅에서 정신없이 떠돌다가 광야에 갇혀 버렸다’라고 생각할 것이다. 4. 그러면 내가 바로의 마음을 강퍅하게 해 그들을 쫓아가게 할 것이다. 그러나 내가 바로와 그의 모든 군대를 통해 영광을 얻게 될 것이며 이집트 사람들은 내가 여호와인 줄을 알게 될 것이다.” 그래서 이스라엘 백성들은 여호와의 말씀대로 했습니다. 5. 한편 이집트 왕은 이스라엘 백성들이 도망쳤다는 말을 전해 들었습니다. 그러자 바로와 그의 신하들은 이스라엘 백성들에 대한 마음이 바뀌어 “우리가 이스라엘 백성들을 내보내어 일손을 잃어버리다니 도대체 우리가 무슨 짓을 한 것인가!”라고 말했습니다. 6. 그리하여 바로는 전차를 준비시키고 그의 군대를 이끌고 갔습니다. 7. 바로는 가장 좋은 전차 600대와 이집트의 다른 모든 전차들을 데리고 갔는데 그 위에는 지휘관들이 타고 있었습니다. 8. 여호와께서는 이집트 왕 바로의 마음을 강퍅하게 해 이스라엘 백성들을 쫓아가게 하셨습니다. 이스라엘 백성들은 담대하게 행진하고 있었습니다. 9. 그러나 이집트 사람들, 곧 모든 바로의 말, 전차, 마병 그리고 군대가 바알스본 앞 비하히롯 옆에 있는 바닷가에 진을 치고 있는 이스라엘 백성을 따라잡았습니다.	1. Now the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2. "Tell the sons of Israel to turn back and camp before Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea; you shall camp in front of Baal-zephon, opposite it, by the sea. 3. "For Pharaoh will say of the sons of Israel, 'They are wandering aimlessly in the land; the wilderness has shut them in.' 4. "Thus I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and he will chase after them; and I will be honored through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD." And they did so. 5. When the king of Egypt was told that the people had fled, Pharaoh and his servants had a change of heart toward the people, and they said, "What is this we have done, that we have let Israel go from serving us?" 6. So he made his chariot ready and took his people with him; 7. and he took six hundred select chariots, and all the [other] chariots of Egypt with officers over all of them. 8. And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and he chased after the sons of Israel as the sons of Israel were going out boldly. 9. Then the Egyptians chased after them [with] all the horses [and] chariots of Pharaoh, his horsemen and his army, and they overtook them camping by the sea, beside Pi-hahiroth, in front of Baal-zephon.

1. Now the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2. "Tell the sons of Israel to turn back and     camp     before Pi-hahiroth, 

     between Migdol and the sea; 

you shall      camp     in front of Baal-zephon, 

     opposite it, by the sea.

3. "For Pharaoh will say of the sons of Israel, 'They are wandering aimlessly in the land; the wilderness has shut them in.'

4. "Thus I will harden Pharaoh's heart, 

and he will chase after them; 

and I will be honored through Pharaoh and all his army, 

and the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD." 

And they did so.

5. When the king of Egypt was told that the people had fled, Pharaoh and his servants had a change of heart toward the people, and they said, "What is this we have done, that we have let Israel go from serving us?"

6. So he made his chariot ready and took his people with him;

7. and he took six hundred select chariots, and all the [other] chariots of Egypt with officers over all of them.

8. And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, 

   and he chased after the sons of Israel as the sons of Israel were going out boldly.

9. Then the Egyptians chased after them [with] all the horses [and] chariots of Pharaoh, his horsemen and his army, and they overtook them camping by the sea, beside Pi-hahiroth, in front of Baal-zephon.

* Sometimes He wants us to turn back - another His strategy is beginning

* He can be honored through people who are not belong to him. 

: Although Pharaoh and his army did not worship God, He made himself be honored by them. 

: I remember the verse, if there is no one who praise Him, He would make rocks to praise Him. 

: Honoring God - He does not need our praise. But He is pleased to be honored by us, by my mouth and my life. 

: Being a tool to worship him and honor him - itself is a huge blessing to me. 

: As a praise team member, and a leader, I am honored. Honoring Him makes me imbue into the grace of Lord, Jesus. 

: He is the awesome God, majesty. 

*Think about how Israelite would feel when they camped by the sea. 

: They could be terrified with the fact that they could be killed by Egyptians - when they did not know the plan of God: dividing the sea and leading them through the dried land of the sea. 하나님의 그 크신 계획하심을 알기 전,  인간의 힘으로는 상상할 수 없는 하나님의 계획을 알기 전, 그 바다와 적진 사이에 놓인 이스라엘 백성들은 얼마나 두려웠을까. 얼마나 큰 걱정을 하고 있었을까. 하나님이 어떻게 일하실까를 모르는 상태에서. 얼마나 두려웠을까. 그들은 다만 listened and obeyed. 인간의 힘과 계획으로는 '딱 죽기 좋은' 막다른 골목과 가은 곳에서 진을 치며, 그들은 하나님이 일하실 것을 기다렸다. 내가 할 수 없는 한계. 하나님만이 일하실 수 있는 환경. 내 모든 힘과 능력과 지혜를 내려놓은 그 곳. 그곳에서 하나님은 일하신다. 

: 내가 신뢰하는 하나님은? 나는 그 말씀에 따라 바닷가에 진을 치고 있는 이스라엘과 같지 않은가? 난 두려워 유사시에 도망갈 수 있는 배를 만들고 있지는 않은가? 하나님을 기다리며 잠잠히 하나님의 음성에 귀 기울여야 하지 않는가? 

내용관찰

1. 이스라엘 백성이 하나님의 명령에 따라 장막을 친 곳은 어디입니까?(2절) 바다와 믹돌 사이의 비하히롯 앞 곧 바알스본 맞은편 바닷가

2. 이스라엘 백성이 출애굽 한 후, 바로는 어떤 조치를 취했습니까?(5~9절) 다시 돌이켜 그들을 쫓아감

연구와 묵상

3. 하나님께서 굳이 이스라엘 백성의 길을 바꿔 바닷가에 장막을 치게 하신 까닭은 무엇입니까? 바다 앞에 길이 막혀서 이스라엘이 당황했을것이라고 바로가 생각하게 함-> 이들을 뒤쫓기 좋은 기회라고 생각해서 이스라엘을 쫓아감. 

느낀점

4. 순종의 길이 때론 위험해 보여도, 그 이면에 하나님의 큰 뜻이 있다는 사실에서 무엇을 느낍니까?

: 맞습니다 주님. 때로는 주께서 인도하시는 길이 위험해보이고, 어려워보여도. 그것이 if that's clearly from God, that's the way I should follow. 그 길 가운데 주님의 뜻이 있고, 주님의 인도하심이 있고, 보호하심이 있습니다. 

결단과 적용

5. 하나님께서 명하실 때 나의 순종을 방해하는 가장 큰 장애물은 무엇입니까?그 장애물을 제거하기 위해 오늘 내가 변화돼야 할 부분은 무엇입니까?

: 나의 의심이나 인간적이 계획이 나의 순종을 방해합니다. 또한 내 욕심도 그것을 방해하는 주요 요소이기도 합니다. 주님, 나로 하여금 하나님을 찬양하고 주님의 말씀에 귀 기울이고 순종할 수 있는 부드러운 마음을 주시옵소서. 

: 하나님의 분명한 말씀을 듣기 위해, 하나님 앞에서 내 삶이 더 주께 귀 기울이는 삶이 되어야 할 것입니다.
