[미리암의 노래] 19. ○바로의 말과 병거와 마병이 함께 바다에 들어가매 여호와께서 바닷물을 그들 위에 되돌려 흐르게 하셨으나 이스라엘 자손은 바다 가운데서 마른 땅으로 지나간지라 20. 아론의 누이 선지자 미리암이 손에 소고를 잡으매 모든 여인도 그를 따라 나오며 소고를 잡고 춤추니 21. 미리암이 그들에게 화답하여 이르되 너희는 여호와를 찬송하라 그는 높고 영화로우심이요 말과 그 탄 자를 바다에 던지셨음이로다 하였더라	19. 바로의 말과 전차와 마병들이 바다 속으로 들어갔을 때 여호와께서 그 위로 바닷물을 전과 같이 덮으셨습니다. 그러나 이스라엘 백성들은 마른 땅 위로 바다를 가로질러 건넜습니다. 20. 그때 아론의 누나인 여예언자 미리암이 손에 탬버린을 들었습니다. 그러자 모든 여인들이 미리암을 따라 탬버린을 들고 춤을 추었습니다. 21. 미리암이 그들에게 노래했습니다. “여호와께 노래하라. 그가 영광스럽게 승리하셨다. 말과 말 탄 사람 모두를 바다 속으로 처넣으셨다.”	19. For the horses of Pharaoh with his chariots and his horsemen went into the sea, and the LORD brought back the waters of the sea on them; but the sons of Israel walked on dry land through the midst of the sea. 20. And Miriam the prophetess, Aaron's sister, took the timbrel in her hand, and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dancing. 21. And Miriam answered them, "Sing to the LORD, for He is highly exalted; The horse and his rider He has hurled into the sea."

19. For the horses of Pharaoh 

    with his chariots 

    and his horsemen                                         went into the sea, 

and the LORD brought back the waters of the sea on them;

 but             the sons of Israel                                          walked on dry land 

through the midst of the sea.

20. And Miriam the prophetess, 

      Aaron's sister,                     took the timbrel in her hand, 

and all the women                     went out after her with timbrels and with dancing.

21. And Miriam answered them, "Sing to the LORD, for He is highly exalted; 

The horse and his rider He has hurled into the sea."

* How it was possible for the Israel to walk on dry land in the midst of the sea?

: 바다 한가운데 마른 땅을 마련하시고, 그 가운데로 이스라엘을 인도하는 하나님. 하나님의 인도하심은 놀랍고 놀라워서, 우리가 상상할 수 없는 방법으로 일하신다. 그것은 해저를 마르게 하는 기이한 일로도 나타난다. 오늘 나를 인도하시는 하나님을 신뢰할 때, 나는 지금 내가 걷고 있는 이 길이, 내 죄인인 본성을 갖고서는 절대 불가능할 일이었음을- 해저를 마른 땅과 같이 걷는 일임을 알게 된다. 다시한번 죄인인 나를 사랑하시고 구원하신 하나님의 은혜 가운데 감격하게 된다. 

* What does it mean by taking the timbrel? 

: Miriam took the timbrel in her hand, and it led all the women to go out and praise God with dancing and timbrels. She proclaimed God's work, his glory and his work on Israelites. 나에게 있어서 인도란 무엇인가 다시 생각하게 된다. 여 선지자인 미리암- 그가 악기를 손에 쥐는 행동은 많은 여인들이 주께로 나아와 찬양케 하는 시작점이 되었다. 나에게 있어서 찬양팀이란 무엇인가? 나에게 찬양 인도자는 어떠한 자리인가? .. 이스라엘 민족이 마른땅을 통해 바다를 건넜을 때, 그것을 그냥 지켜보지 않고- 찬양과 예배로, 주께 영광돌리는 행위로 이어나간 미리암의 그 예배의 자세를 배우고 싶다. 주님, 내 삶의 각 영역에서 주를 찬양하기를 잊지 않게 하소서. 내게 일어난 every single things에 주를 찬양하게 하시고, 우리 교회에 하신 일들에 대해 주를 찬양하게 하시고, 그 소고를 잡는 용기와 예배자의 자세가 내게도 있게 하소서.
