9. 사랑에는 거짓이 없나니 악을 미워하고 선에 속하라 10. 형제를 사랑하여 서로 우애하고 존경하기를 서로 먼저 하며 11. 부지런하여 게으르지 말고 열심을 품고 주를 섬기라 12. 소망 중에 즐거워하며 환난 중에 참으며 기도에 항상 힘쓰며 13. 성도들의 쓸 것을 공급하며 손 대접하기를 힘쓰라 [그리스도인의 생활] 14. ○너희를 박해하는 자를 축복하라 축복하고 저주하지 말라 15. 즐거워하는 자들과 함께 즐거워하고 우는 자들과 함께 울라 16. 서로 마음을 같이하며 높은 데 마음을 두지 말고 도리어 낮은 데 처하며 스스로 지혜 있는 체 하지 말라 17. 아무에게도 악을 악으로 갚지 말고 모든 사람 앞에서 선한 일을 도모하라 18. 할 수 있거든 너희로서는 모든 사람과 더불어 화목하라 19. 내 사랑하는 자들아 너희가 친히 원수를 갚지 말고 하나님의 진노하심에 맡기라 기록되었으되 원수 갚는 것이 내게 있으니 내가 갚으리라고 주께서 말씀하시니라 20. 네 원수가 주리거든 먹이고 목마르거든 마시게 하라 그리함으로 네가 숯불을 그 머리에 쌓아 놓으리라 21. 악에게 지지 말고 선으로 악을 이기라	9. 사랑에는 거짓이 없어야 합니다. 악한 것을 미워하고 선한 것을 붙드십시오. 10. 형제의 사랑으로 서로 사랑하고 서로 먼저 존경하며 11. 열심을 내 일하고 성령으로 뜨거워진 마음으로 주를 섬기십시오. 12. 소망 가운데 기뻐하고 환난 가운데 참으며 기도를 항상 힘쓰십시오. 13. 성도들의 쓸 것을 공급하고 나그네를 대접하는 일을 힘쓰십시오. 14. 여러분을 핍박하는 사람들을 축복하십시오. 축복하고 저주하지 마십시오. 15. 기뻐하는 사람들과 함께 기뻐하고 우는 사람들과 함께 우십시오. 16. 서로 마음을 같이하고 교만한 마음을 품지 말며 오히려 비천한 사람들과 사귀고 스스로 지혜 있는 체 마십시오. 17. 아무도 악을 악으로 갚지 말고 모든 사람 앞에서 선한 일을 힘써 행하십시오. 18. 여러분이 할 수만 있으면 모든 사람들과 평화롭게 지내십시오. 19. 사랑하는 형제들이여, 여러분이 스스로 원수를 갚지 말고 하나님의 진노하심에 맡기십시오. 기록되기를 “원수를 갚는 것이 내게 있으니 내가 갚아 주겠다”고 주께서 말씀하십니다. 신32:35 20. “네 원수가 굶주려 있으면 먹이고 목말라 하면 마실 것을 주어라. 이로써 네가 그의 머리 위에 숯불을 쌓을 것이다.” 잠25:21-22 21. 악에 지지 말고 선으로 악을 이기십시오.	9. Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. 10. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; 11. not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; 12. rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, 13. contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality. 14. Bless those who persecute you; bless and curse not. 15. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. 16. Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation. 17. Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all men. 18. If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. 19. Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath [of God,] for it is written, "VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY," says the Lord. 20. "BUT IF YOUR ENEMY IS HUNGRY, FEED HIM, AND IF HE IS THIRSTY, GIVE HIM A DRINK; FOR IN SO DOING YOU WILL HEAP BURNING COALS UPON HIS HEAD. " 21. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.	9.  Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. 10.  Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; 11.  Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; 12.  Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; 13.  Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. 14.  Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. 15.  Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. 16.  Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. 17.  Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 18.  If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. 19.  Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. 20.  Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. 21.  Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
